The Interconnectedness of St’át’imc

The Interconnectedness of St’át’imc

Pala7lhkalha (one people, one language, one culture)

and Pál7usem (one family, tribe)

We use the words above to try to capture our identity by using the language. Our language is one of many strengths and what binds us.

The newly formed St’át’imc Constitution Team has been appointed (a representative (s) from each community) to begin the process of developing a St’át’imc Nation constitution.   Part of that process, the Team had identified the importance of St’át’imc interconnectedness in the collective vision, principles and goals of St’át’imc.

We would like to invite you to share your stories, understandings, & knowledge about St’át’imc interconnectedness, unity & nationhood.
