We will be adding updates and information as much as possible. There are still a few gaps, but we hope you can be patient with us as we continue to add important bulletins and fill these gaps. 

Hi Everyone,

It's been a busy few months. We've been working hard and appreciate everyone's patience as we begin implementing this complex agreement. This week we started another round of community meetings to update members with a progress report and to answer any questions. So far, we've been to Xa'xsta, and are still scheduling dates for the other communities. We will upload the powerpoint presentation as soon as its ready.

We've also been meeting with administrators from each community to begin working together on implementing each of the specific community agreements. On January 10 & 11, all the Trustees and Chiefs from each community held meetings at the Sekw'el'was Band Office. Here they discussed implementation, organization of the Trust, and rules and guidelines for one another to set forward. This was a great stepping stone for this elaborate process.

We are in the last stages of launching a new website, and anticipate its launch by the end of the month. This website will keep everyone updated on events, job opportunities, news, and any information on the agreement, trust, programs, and initiatives.

As part of the transition from the negotiation to implementation, the SCC dissolved the SNH effective Friday, January 13, 2012. In its place, the SCC incorporated St'át'imc Government Services (SGS) to carry out the SCC obligations in the Settlement Agreements. 

Over the next couple weeks, we will provide more updates for implementation of the Water Use Plan (WUP) and direct award contracts with employment opportunities. The search to fill the position of the Education and Training Developer is underway, and we look forward to putting out more opportunities for St'át'imc as they arise.

Attached are profiles for each community trustee. Please note that this is a draft, and some changes will be made. For example, Ernest Armann is now the Implementation Manager and will no longer be serving as a trustee. A replacement is in the works.
