An exciting opportunity to empower communities and create a healthier, happier
St’át’imc exists for the St’át’imc Education and Training (SET) Manager. The SET Manager champions
the vision of St’át’imc achieving a high level of educational attainment and meaningful participation in the
new economy through the implementation of a holistic, St’át’imc education and training solution that is:
locally available; culturally relevant and aligned with existing and emerging industries; and that utilizes a
coordinated systems approach across all St’át’imc communities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the SET program based on SET Program 2013 Research and Framework, as well as implementing and reporting on the program. As a member-driven program, the Manager will engage ten community education coordinators to undertake planning to align education and training work and initiatives that support improved member education outcomes, and improved employment outcomes.
